Arc & Stones
Arc & Stones
Alternative from Nashville TN

Bringing an array of gritty-bluesy styles, Arc & Stones’ sound combines the fast paced energy of NYC where the group was established, and the soulful identity of Nashville where they now reside. At their core, Arc & Stones are an unabashed act - inspired by two very different types of rock'n'roll, the group finds a way for them to coexist.

Founding member Dan Pellarin began his Arc & Stones journey by deciding to take a new path in life after an unfulfilling stint in Miami. Driven and unapologetic, Pellarin threw himself into his art, moved to New York City and eventually crossed ways with current members Joe Doino(drums) and Dan Berry (lead guitar)

After several successful tours with the legendary rock-act, Kansas, the band sees their future pointing in a new direction as a different animal.

“We want to challenge ourselves to be better than we were the day before" says Pellarin. "This is a new move for us that aims to reestablish authenticity to popular rock music. It seems like the culture has fallen by the wayside in today’s world... like what the fuck happened?"
Sherman Ewing
Sherman Ewing
Jam Band, Folk Rock, Alt Rock from Brooklyn NY

Sherman Ewing's music is his own unique mix, and suggests a maturity, despite his 40 young years, that come from developing a multi-dimensional sound. That sound can be traced back to his native Minnesota, a virtual rock and roll holy land of the midwest, home to wide ranging musical progeny, such as Bob Dylan, Prince, and Paul Westerberg. But his music also has traces of a New York street wise and weary artist, owing to the fact that he has called New York City and Brooklyn his home these past 17 years.

Like the unrefined and direct sounds of his fellow Minnesotans, The Replacements and Husker Du, Ewing was also influenced by England's punk music. Sherman experienced this first hand while attending an all boy's boarding school in England during the birth and peak of the Punk movement. Ewing returned to the States and later attended Columbia University where he met John "Jojo" Hermann of Widespread Panic. The two classmates played together in Sherman and the Bureaucrats. Ewing continued to develop his sound playing with various New York bands throughout the '90s.

Then, in 2002, Sherman launched his solo career and teamed up with producer Godfrey Diamond (Lou Reed, Aerosmith, Billy Squier). Ewing and Diamond's collaborative chemistry was immediate and the two began to write and record songs. The result, Bluemoon. The 11 tracks boast an outstanding team of musicians, including George Recile (Keith Richards, Bob Dylan), Ivan Neville, John Ginty (Robert Randolph), Jack Petruzelli (Joan Osborne), and David Dreiwitz (Ween).

In the years since the release of Bluemoon, Sherman has been touring, including several opening stints for his friend Jojo Hermann. Sherman and Godfrey are currently collaborating again for Ewing's next release, Single Room Saloon. This release will include collaborations with Ewing's old friends Jojo Hermann (Widespread Panic) and George Recile (Keith Richards, Bob Dylan), as well as Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors), and Tom Marshall (Phish, Amphibian).

On January 11, 2011, Sherman's long awaited new CD, Single Room Saloon, was released in digital format. The brick-and-mortar release for the 10-song collection is scheduled for Spring 2011.
Kevin Daniel
Kevin Daniel
Singer Songwriter from Brooklyn NY

Since childhood, Kevin Daniel has known music was his future. Daniel recalls telling his parents he heard music in his head all the time, and their response was to buy him a keyboard and sign him up for lessons. Since that day, Daniel has spent a lifetime playing music, learning keys, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, banjo, and even bagpipes along the way, all while singing in any capacity he could. Middle school saxophone quartets turned into high school rock bands before morphing into university symphony and jazz programs. Collegiate highlights include playing horn for DC-based Kill Lincoln, singing alto in the all-male a capella group Emocapella, and playing in the GWU blues band throughout the DC area.

After spending years of making music in a host of genres, including everything from big swing bands to bluegrass quartets, Kevin Daniel started his solo career in 2013 with the release of his inaugural EP, FLY. Two decades of performing, writing, and recording had prepared Daniel to record and perform his own original music, while the sudden loss of his mother and stepfather provided the motivation to proceed with his dream. Backed by a band of talented musicians, daniel brings FLY and an increasingly large collection of new original tunes to the east coast and beyond.

Kevin Daniel is currently finishing his second EP, Myself Through You, recorded at Degraw Sound in Brooklyn, NY, and produced, engineered, and mixed by Ben Rice. Daniel’s sophomore EP brings the bold emotions of the organ, steel guitar, and horn to the forefront of Americana music, a genre growing its fan base exponentially. With backup vocals provided by the talented Irene Blackman, Daniel’s lyrics touch on his childhood in rural North Carolina, personal struggle with the loss of his family, and the inevitable forward push of time.

Following the future release of Myself Through You in early 2018, kevin daniel will tour throughout the northeast, southeast, south, and midwest, bringing his explosive live performances and a full band on the road and to the masses.
