The Happy Fits
The Happy Fits
Indie Rock (infused with some funky-wunky jimbo time) from Clinton, NJ

National fencing champion Ross Monteith and orchestra nerd Calvin Langman didn't exactly get along in high school. However, a chance conversation in 2014 about the success of Youtube cover bands brought the two together to pave a road to quick fortune. Their mix of rocking guitars and electric cello created a unique dynamic, blending their love of rock artists like The Black Keys and folk bands like The Violent Femmes. The resulting music produced a youthful and chaotic frenzy of catchy melodies and raw instrumentals. When the band recruited professional gamer Luke Davis to join the band on drums, The Happy Fits were born. The band's first single "While You Fade Away" from their debut EP "Awfully Apeelin'" reached #5 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral USA Chart the first week of its release.

Yes, that's right. The Old Paints are the band with the girl who plays the log.

The Old Paints formed in 2013 after Breely Flower, the girl who plays the log, met Andy Harris at his weekly open mic. The duo has since performed over two hundred across Alabama and North Carolina and all points in between. Aleiah Briggs joined the group in 2016.

Starting with 2013's 'First Ten Songs' and 2015's follow-up 'This Machine', the Paints have writ-ten eighteen songs with plenty more on the way. Their third album, FunnySexyCool, will be re-leased in late 2016. This will coincide with the beginning of a Never-Ending Tour. The Paints are playing shows to NY and back in July.

Highlight festivals include Sidewalk Film Fest (2015), McCalla Walla (2015), Druid City Arts Fest (2014), Magic City Arts Connection (2014), Magic City Brewfest (2013). The Paints have shared the stage with Cracker, Susto, The Tontons, Jonny Fritz, Wild Moccasins, and John & Jacob.
